New Students:
Before we step into the studio, I'd like to discuss your physical awareness and goals. I am sure that you know a bit more about your body than I do. So, I'd like to tap into your knowledge and design classes specifically to work on whatever prevents you from having the body you want and need. I always draw attention to the aches, pains, fitness goals and overall body concerns of the individual first. Then we can build our curriculum around those areas needing improvement. Strength, flexibility, coordination, and fluidity of movement tend to be the biggest issues for my students. By identifying these problem areas we can move onto perusing more productive avenues for improving your body knowledge.
I must stress that my classes are tailored to the individual student, even if you are part of a group class. So the more I know about you, the batter class can be.
My studio is a warm and competition free environment! There is no pressure to prove anything to anyone other than yourself. My job is just to keep it fresh, teach you a little something about your physical self, challenge your body, get you in better shape and most of all make it fun! Furthermore, there is no such thing as a beginner, intermediate, or advanced class to me. Everyone is a beginner unquestionably because there's always something more to learn about your body. So, if you're into tuning up and into your body and learning something new about your physicality in the process, please get in touch!
